APPLICATIONS

ALL-TEMP INDUSTRITE® Control Cable is designed and manufactured for use in continuous flexing, twisting, and other abusive physical applications where flame, abrasion, chemicals, moisture, impact, tearing, and temperature extremes are considerations. Applications include portable control, spring and motor driven reels, festoon systems, power tracks, aerotracks, cable tenders, cranes, and hoists. ALL-TEMP INDUSTRITE Control Cables are suitable for use indoors and outdoors, and are suitable for installations in water including aerator ponds.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

1. CONDUCTORS

FEATURES : Extra-flexible stranding (Class K), soft-drawn tinned copper ; per ASTM B-33, ASTM B-174, and UL-62.

BENEFITS : High flexibility, extended flex-life, reduces copper fatigue and conductor breakage, easy to solder and resists corrosion.

SEPARATOR

FEATURE : Paper separator

BENEFIT : Easy stripping

2. INSULATION

FEATURES : Colour coded Thermoset (EPDM) insulation per UL-62 and ICEA S-68-516.

BENEFITS : Excellent physical and electrical properties, insulation is coloured and printed for easy conductor identification, suitable for use in extreme flexing applications.

3. CABLING

FEATURES : Conductors are cabled (maximum of two layers) with non-wicking, non-hygroscopic fillers with an overall binder of rubberized fabric tape.

BENEFIT : Increased mechanical strength and impact resistance, and exceptional performance in severe flexing applications.

4. JACKET

FEATURES : Available in stock with black, oil and flame-resistant, reinforced thermoset (neoprene) jacket ; per UL-62 and ICEA S-68-516.

BENEFITS : Immediate delivery, suitable for use indoors and outdoors in abusive flexing applications where oil, chemicals, and extreme temperatures are considerations.

RATINGS

ALL-TEMP INDUSTRITE Control Cables are rated for continuous operation at 105ºC to -55ºC in dry locations. Cables are UL listed (E2517) Type SOW-A, 90ºC dry, water resistant 60ºC and CSA certified (LL 36970) Type SOW FT2. MSHA Approved.

CONSTRUCTION OPTIONS

Consult factory for ALL-TEMP INDUSTRITE Cables designed and manufactured in a variety of alternative constructions for specific applications. Options include overall shields and armor, or composite conductors.

Note : The use of basket-weave grips, a minimum of 12 inches in length, is recommended to prolong cable life in all working applications
