TYPE SEOW-A & SEOOW-A          FLEXIBLE PORTABLE CORD AND CONTROL CABLE                    600 VOLTS  CSA / UL   105°C  - 40°C

 

 

Features:

Flexible and tough insulation and jacket. Plus 105°C to minus 40°C temperature extremes with superb flexibility. Excellent abrasion, ozone, chemical, oil and water resistance. High dielectric strength insulation. Lightweight, long lasting, easy to carry and easy to handle. UL listed SEOW-A and SEOOW-A 600 Volt to NEC Art.400 and CSA certified. Has water and oil  resistant conductors and is MSHA listed, meeting all flame resistant requirements for mining applications. Available in black or yellow jacket.

Design:

Annealed flexible stranded copper conductors. Lightweight high dielectric insulation. Cabled for maximum flexibility and roundness. Lightweight chemical, oil, gas and water resistant jacket. Cable rated plus 105°C to minus 40°C.

Applications:

NEC Art. 400 and associated articles. Federal and Military use under Fed. Spec. JC-580B. Portable power distribution. Push button remote controls. Motor control, stage equipment and lighting. Industrial control and robotics systems. Portable cord for outdoor application. Special use cord requiring mechanical toughness and high environmental resistance. Ideal for applications in extremely harsh environments that require a tough cable with  a low temperature, flame retardant jacket with MSHA Approval. Can be additionally labeled as DRC 105 for the demanding needs of land-drilling, mining and petrochemical industry applications. Its resistance to diesel fuel and other oils and chemicals is unmatched. No cable can stand up as well to these punishing environments.
